There are two ways to install our eSIM on your Android device:

A. “One-Click Installation” directly within the app
In the Simly app or on the website, go to “My Plans” and select the plan for which you want to install the eSIM.
Go to “Installation Details,” select “Android,” and then “Automatic”
Follow the instructions on the screen.
When prompted to select a default line for contacts, calls, messages, iMessage, and FaceTime, please always select your primary SIM.
B. Installation using the QR code
For this method, you’ll need two devices or, for example, a printed copy of the QR code. The eSIM will be installed on the device used to scan the QR code. If the installation is unexpectedly interrupted, you can reinstall the eSIM up to 5 times.
1. Go to “Cellular / Connections” in your device’s Settings
2. Select “Add eSIM” (depending on the model, you may need to select “Advanced Cellular Providers” to install a new eSIM)
3. Scan the Simly eSIM QR code
4. Confirm the eSIM installation
5. If prompted to select a phone number, please always select your primary SIM.
6. Make sure “Data Roaming” is enabled
C. Manual Installation
You don’t need a second device for this installation method. With this method, you install the eSIM using what’s known as “LPA data.” You can find this on the Simly website under “My Plans” in the “Installation Details.”
1. Go to “Mobile / Connections” in your device’s settings
2. Tap the plus sign next to “SIMs” or ‘Mobile’ and select “No SIM card?” or “Install an eSIM instead.”
3. Depending on your model, you may also need to select “Advanced mobile carriers” to add a new eSIM.
4. Click on “Need help?” below the QR code scanner, then click on “Enter data manually” and paste the LPA code into the provided input field.
5. Confirm the eSIM installation
6. If you are prompted to select a phone number, please select your primary SIM.
