Please note that regardless of the chosen installation method, 'Data Roaming' must be enabled in the device settings.
Apple Instant Installation Link
- Go to 'My Plans' in the Simly app or website and select the plan for which you want to install the eSIM.
- Go to 'Installation Details', select 'iOS' and 'Automatic'.
- Click on the Apple Instant Installation Link or share it on the device on which you want to install the eSIM
- Follow the instructions on the screen
- When prompted to select a default line for contacts, calls, messages, iMessage, and FaceTime, always select your primary SIM
QR Code
- Go to 'My Plans' in the Simly app or website and select the plan for which you want to install the eSIM
- Scan the QR code with the device on which you want to install the eSIM
- Follow the instructions on the screen
- When prompted to select a default line for contacts, calls, messages, iMessage, and FaceTime, always select your primary SIM.
Manual Installation
- Open 'Settings' on your iPhone or iPad.
- Select 'Mobile Service' or 'Cellular' and then 'Add eSIM'.
- Select 'Use QR Code' and then 'Enter Details Manually'.
- Enter the SM-DP address and activation code for your eSIM (You can find these under 'My Plans', select your eSIM plan and go to the 'Manual Installation' tab).
- Follow the instructions on the screen.
- When prompted to select a default line for contacts, calls, messages, iMessage, and FaceTime, always select your primary SIM.
