How do I install an eSIM on my iOS device?

There are three different ways to install the eSIM on your iOS device. If you have any questions or problems, please feel free to contact us at any time: support@simly.com

Please note that regardless of the chosen installation method, 'Data Roaming' must be enabled in the device settings.

Apple Instant Installation Link

1. Go to 'My Plans' in the Simly app or website and select the plan for which you want to install the eSIM.
2. Go to 'Installation Details', select 'iOS' and 'Automatic'.
3. Click on the Apple Instant Installation Link or share it on the device on which you want to install the eSIM
4. Follow the instructions on the screen
5. When prompted to select a default line for contacts, calls, messages, iMessage, and FaceTime, always select your primary SIM

QR Code

1. Go to 'My Plans' in the Simly app or website and select the plan for which you want to install the eSIM
2. Scan the QR code with the device on which you want to install the eSIM
3. Follow the instructions on the screen
4. When prompted to select a default line for contacts, calls, messages, iMessage, and FaceTime, always select your primary SIM.

Manual Installation

1. Open 'Settings' on your iPhone or iPad.
2. Select 'Mobile Service' or 'Cellular' and then 'Add eSIM'.
3. Select 'Use QR Code' and then 'Enter Details Manually'.
4. Enter the SM-DP address and activation code for your eSIM (You can find these under 'My Plans', select your eSIM plan and go to the 'Manual Installation' tab).
5. Follow the instructions on the screen.
6. When prompted to select a default line for contacts, calls, messages, iMessage, and FaceTime, always select your primary SIM.
